Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday, if it is a holiday that you celebrate. We have a pretty small family, so we don't really make a big deal out of the day. Also, the kids are still small and picky eaters, so I really don't go to the hassle of cooking up a storm just to have to a) throw everything away or b) feel compelled to eat the leftovers myself. Therefore, we went out for a late lunch/early dinner at Cracker Barrel. They had a Thanksgiving dinner plate at a reasonable price and it even came with bread AND dessert!! Annnnnd, the portions were just right. Annnnnnddddd, there were no leftovers!!!

After lunch, we took the kids to run off some energy at the park and then cruised Wal Mart to scope out the Black Friday items. We were there around 4pm and there were already lines forming around the pallets they had roped off. Shane is planning on going back at 5am to try and get a TV. We're probably some of the few people left in the US without a HDTV. In fact, we don't get TV reception at all! (Sad, right?) Sometimes I think it's better that we don't. There is a lot of unnecessary garbage on TV and I don't want to waste my time on it.
